Did a bathroom vanity for us and it was a great job! Really satisfied with the quality. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
Great company to work with. Priced the same job in Knoxville at 2 places, and Appalachian was under by quite a bit! Toured their stone-yard to pick out piece and their extensive fabrication warehouse (on-site). Everyone was wonderful, product was exactly what we wanted, and we would not only use again, but we have recommended to several friends.
I had Appalachian Stoneworks install granite in my kitchen and I really thought their work was excellent and the price was great also. You cannot even begin to tell where one pc ends and one begins. I would use them in a minute if I needed more granite. Anita was very professional and came to my house personally to talk about what colors I had in mind and to answer all my questions.
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They would not return phone calls, were consistently late (as in four to five hours late every single time) for appointments, never called to say they were running late and never offered an apology for the hassle. When they finally did show up, they had the wrong size granite so it couldn't be installed and we had to reschedule once again. They constantly made excuses for why the work wasn't done. After dealing with this unprofessional and unorganized company for several weeks (and missing a lot of work waiting on them) we finally just gave up, asked for our money back and went with a more reliable company.
