I stayed at Country Inn & Suites while doing a show 15 minutes away in Johnson City. I was happy with everything.
Unfortunately, I have to rate 1 star if it was up to me...This place wouldn't even get a 1/2 of a star. Customer service was horrible upon check in. Very rude and disrespectful. Also, had a problem with the room keys deactivating. I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend anyone else to this hotel. Not enough wash cloths or towels. The only nice thing I can say is the pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. Other than that, don't waste your time here. The customer service representatives name was Lisa England. She was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. Very displeased but I had paid for the room in advance. So if you want a really nice hotel with wonderful respectful customer service I highly recommend Doubletree. I wish I had stayed there again instead of wasting my money and time at the Country Inn. Hope this is helpful and you reconsider on booking this hotel.
The two-story lobby has an interesting look with a big, decorative staircase leading up to the second level. The indoor pool was visible along the way to the elevator, and I was tempted, but I wouldn't be in town long enough.
We come here once a year for a dance weekend. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You even get a fresh cookie on check in.
My room was recently renovated, with contemporary furniture, slim, black lamps, and a granite counter in the bathroom. Comfortable, clean, open layout -- I was all set up.
We booked our client Comedian Art Sturtevant here a few days ago and he had a great time! He raved about the rooms. They were clean, with tons of storage, and a large bathroom. The staff was attentive and professional. Thank you, Country Inn & Suites , for taking such good care of our client!
Pleasant staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice, comfy beds with quality bedding. Breakfast included. Free parking. 6 miles to Johnson City medical center. Tasty breakfast too.
I'll be back, next time I'm performing nearby!
I was really happy with the variety of foods available at the continental breakfast. I started my day with a fresh waffle, scrambled eggs and roasted rosemary potatoes.
