Eli took my take out order. He suggested the Philly Cheese teak sandwich, pizza, and lasagna everything was outstanding. What a gem to have a restaurant this good here. I definitely will come back again.
The best eggplant parmegian we have had outside the Italian neighborhoods of the Northeast. The Black Olive also does a wonderful job with all their sauces, and all the pizza variations I have tried. Their bread is always warm, but nothing to write home about. Desserts are also fairly ordinary, except for the Baklava, which is Great! We like the handmade potato chips a lot, but you do have to specify that you want FRESH from the fryer. Service is always friendly, accurate, and prompt, and the prices are very reasonable. We eat there several times a month, for either lunch or supper. In warm weather, the covered patio dining is very nice.
Meh. Staff is friendly. Food isn't anything to write home about. The garlic knots were good. I definitely wouldn't avoid eating here, but I also wouldn't drive any distance to go here. It's just OK.

Food is excellent. I recommend a Stromboli or calzone although the pasta is good as well. Stay for dessert. You won't be disappointed! (Service is average)
